Carnival Diablo was showcased on a TV Special that looked at the Paranormal and Unknown.Scott McClelland of Carnival Diablo has been a Parapsychologist for the past 15 years and was put to the test in front of a panel of scientists as he attempted to read the mind of one of the scientists and also performed a Seance... under supervised conditions.
McClelland also brought to the table the most esoteric performers in Sideshow History as they performed some of the more 'Dangerous and Miraculous stunts' during the show. Once again, the panel of scientists attempted to explain what they thought they had witnessed.
Some of the experiments involved:
Jason Queck: used Mind over Matter to displace pain and shove sharpened bicycle spokes thru his body.
Vanessa Neil: laid upon a Bed of Nails and allowed McClelland to crush a 35lb. cinderblock on her stomach.
Istvan Betyar: heated a butter knife with a blow torch and cooled it on his tongue. Then swallowed a 24 inch sword and bowed from the waist.
SINN: sat in a State Penitentiary Electric Chair that has been checked out before the show and had 100,000 volts of electricity pumped through his body. And he allowed McClelland to light a torch off of the lightening arching off of his tongue!
The show was well received across the country and we will have background footage of the making of the TV special very soon... plus some other 'surprises'!
